Brooklyn Park Auto Tampering Suspects Taken Into Custody; Charged With Rogue and Vagabond

On November 12, 2019 at approximately 3:50 a.m., officers received a call to respond to the area of Dockside Court and harbor Valley Drive for a report of two males tampering with autos. Responding officers immediately located the suspects. 

Suspect #1: Charles Decatur Thompson, 28, with a last known address listed as The Arundel House of Hope, Crain Hwy N Glen Burnie, MD 21061. 

Suspect #2: Joshua Rorey Venable, 33, with a last known address listed as Wedeman Avenue, Linthicum Heights, Maryland.  

Mr. Venable has a significant criminal history which spans over 15 years and 6 Maryland counties.  Since the start of 2019, he has been arrested 5 times and charged with nearly 20 criminal offenses, including multiple rogue and vagabond, credit card theft and drug possession, according to court records.

Trials related to the most recent arrests of both men are scheduled January.
