Suspect Pepper Sprayed Clerk During Robbery of Rite Aid Store in Severna Park, Police Say
An employee of the Rite Aid Store in Severna Park was pepper sprayed during a recent robbery, according to police officials.
On June 5, 2020 at approximately 9:00 p.m. officers responded for a commercial robbery at the Rite Aid located at 25 Jones Station Road in Severna Park. Three black males wearing hooded sweatshirts and face masks entered the store and jumped the counter. One of the suspects forced the clerk to the ground and sprayed him with pepper spray and then removed cash from the register. The suspects fled in an unknown vehicle. The store clerk was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
