Man Injured During Assault at Chambers Park in Annapolis, Police Say

A man was treated and released at an area hospital for injuries he sustained while visiting Chambers Park in Annapolis, according to police. 

Laat week, officers with the Annapolis Police Department responded to the park for a reported assault. The victim advised that he got into a verbal argument with an unknown female subject while there. The female left and returned a short time later with three unknown male subjects. The victim stated he was assaulted by the unknown male subjects, alleging they repeatedly punched him in the head,face and body with closed fists. 

As a result of the attack, the victim sustained injuries including a split upper lip, a small laceration on his forearm and several bruises on his chest and back. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
