County Police Detectives Make Arrests in Recent Area 7-Eleven Robberies

Investigating decectives with the Anne Arundel County Police Department have made arrests in connection with the recent robberies of area 7-Eleven stores. 

On November 11, 2020 at approximately 3:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 730 East College Parkway in Annapolis. The male suspect entered the store displayed a knife and demanded cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store on foot. 

Through investigation, robbery detectives were able to positively identify the suspect from this robbery as thirty-six year old Jeremy Slade Cox (left picture) of Annapolis. He was located on November 12, 2020 at his residence and taken into custody. 

On November 1, 2020 at approximately 5:25 a.m., officers responded for a commercial armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 7701 Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie. An unknown black male suspect entered the store, displayed a kitchen knife and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk backed away from the counter and the suspect removed cash from the register. The suspect and a second black male suspect who was standing watch outside the store fled toward Old Stage Road.

Detectives were able to identify both suspects involved in this robbery. The first suspect, eighteen year old Mike'l Jerome Lee-Johnson (top right picture) of Glen Burnie was located at his residence on November 5, 2020 and taken into custody. The second suspect, nineteen year Nayshawn Raekownlee Brown (bottom right picture), also of Glen Burnie, was located on November 13, 2020 and taken into custody.
