Police Makes Arrest Related to String of Glen Burnie Area Commercial Burglaries
The Anne Arundel County Police have made an arrest in connection with a string of commercial robberies in the Glen Burnie area.
On October 29, 2020 officers responded for multiple reports of commercial burglaries in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, and the 4800 and 5000 blocks of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. Northern District detectives began investigating, canvassing the area for possible suspect information. As a result, detectives were able to obtain video of the suspect. During the course of the investigation a detective observed an individual fitting the description of the suspect. The suspect was detained and identified as Travis Damian Johnson, a 23 year old man from Glen Burnie.
The continuing investigation resulted in the recovery of evidence linking the suspect to burglaries of the Papa Johns located at 4809 Ritchie Highway and Linda’s Steak Subs located at 5012 Ritchie Highway.
Northern District Detectives continue to investigate the remaining burglaries and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135.
