Police Seize Gun, Drugs During Traffic Stop; Annapolis Man, 24, Arrested

Patrol officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department allegedly seized suspected marijuana and a firearm during a traffic stop early this morning. 

Today at approximately 2:49 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Crain Highway at Hiddenbrook Drive in Glen Burnie. While speaking with the driver, information was obtained leading to a search of the driver and the vehicle. The search revealed 26.7 grams of suspected marijuana and a .25 caliber Phoenix P51 handgun. 

The driver, Robert Demontey Brown, was arrested and charged accordingly.
