Shooting in Crofton Leaves One Woman Injured, One Man Dead With Apparent Self-Inflicted Gun Shot Wounds

Members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department said two people were found shot inside a Crofton home this morning.  

At approximately 8:26am, units responded to the area of Carlyle Lane for the report of an injured subject.  Upon arrival, an adult female was located with injuries consistent with being shot. The woman was transported to the Crawley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries. 

Officers subsequently located an adult male deceased from an apparent self-afflicted gunshot wounds. 

Officials have yet to identify either of the subjects involved in the incident.
