Theft From Vehicle, Auto Tampering Suspect Arrested in Annapolis' Rosewood Community

A twenty-one year old man was recently arrested on theft from auto and vehicle tampering charges following an incident in the Rosewood Community off of college parkway in Annapolis. 

On December 9, 2020 at approximately 1:50 a.m., officers responded for a report of a suspicious person tampering with vehicles in the area of the 1800 block of Sunwood Terrace in Annapolis. Upon arrival officers observed the suspect pull on a vehicle door handle in an apparent attempt to enter the vehicle. 

The suspect, James Francis Mayrose Jr. was detained. Investigation revealed the suspect had attempted to enter another vehicle and was responsible for a theft from auto in the area. Mayrose was arrested and charged accordingly.
