Traffic Stop in Odenton Leads to One Arrest, Seizure of a Firearm

Anne Arundel County Police officials today announced the details of a traffic stop in Odenton that led to one arrest and the seizure of a firearm. 

On December 10, 2020 at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a 2017 silver Nissan Sentra at Piney Orchard Parkway at Odenton Road in Odenton. Upon speaking with the driver, officers learned he was in possession of a Glock 17 Gen 5 9mm. 

The firearm was recovered and the suspect,  Keonte J Downs, was arrested and charged accordingly.
