County Police Officers Seize Large Amounts of Cash, Drugs, Multiple Firearms During Glen Burnie Area Traffic Stops

Members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department seized drugs, cash and multiple firearms during three separate traffic stops in the  Glen Burnie area on Wednesday.  

At approximately 3:00 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Mercedes Benz at 6th Street and Cross Street in Brooklyn Park. An investigation led to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the recovery of the following: a Polymer 80 9mm handgun, a Sig Sauer P938 9mm handgun, 9mm ammunition, 3.36 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl, 2.50 grams of suspected heroin, 355.45 grams of suspected marijuana and $4,403.00 US currency. A search of the driver led to the recovery of 3.68 grams of suspected heroin and 41.73 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl. All occupants were arrested, charged and identified as:

Brooklyn, Maryland

Later that day, officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Honda Accord at Elvaton Road and Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. An investigation led to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the recovery of 81.16 grams of suspected marijuana. The driver was arrested, charged and identified as:

8200 block of Lincoln Drive 

Jessup, Maryland

Less than an hour later, at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a gray Infiniti G37 at the on ramp of 100 W/B and Oakwood Road in Glen Burnie. An investigation led to a search of the vehicle which resulted in the recovery of 110.59 grams of suspected marijuana, clear plastic bags, a digital scale, $4,669.00 U.S. currency, a Smith & Wesson Springfield handgun and 7 rounds of ammunition. The driver and passenger were both arrested, charged and identified as:
