Severn Man, 13-Year Old Juvenile From Baltimore Arrested On Drug Violation Following Traffic Stop in Curtis Bay

County police arrested two people including a juvenile on drug charges following a traffic stop in Curtis Bay.

Officials with the Anne Arundel County Police Deparment today said at approximately 6:15 p.m. on March 13, 2021, officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver Acura TL in the area of Fort Smallwood Road and Sycamore Road in Curtis Bay. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer observed suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. 

The investigation resulted in a search of the vehicle and occupants which led to the seizure of 20.51 grams of suspected marijuana, 69 gel caps containing suspected heroin (23.72g), 74 small containers with suspected crack cocaine (40.37g), 3 portable digital scales and $3,480 U.S. currency. 

 

The occupants were arrested and identified as:

1) Ry'Shard Donta Nelson

DOB: 10/25/2000

8200 block of Stewarton Court

Severn, Maryland

 

2) Juvenile 

13 years of age

Baltimore, Maryland
