15-Year Old Glen Burnie Girl Charged in Violent Carjacking, Other Suspect Remains At Large
A 15 year old girl from Glen Burnie was arrested for her alleged connection with the recent violent carjarcking on Warwickshire Lane.
On April 19, 2021 at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded for a carjacking in the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie. The adult female victim parked her car, a 2020 Buick Encore, and was approached by two suspects, one male and one female. The suspects knocked the victim down, removed her car keys and fled in the victim’s vehicle.
A lookout was broadcast to neighboring jurisdictions for the vehicle which was located by the Baltimore City Police in the 5600 block of Sagra Road.
The female suspect, who is a juvenile, was taken into custody and charged on a juvenile citation with Carjacking, Robbery, Unlawful Vehicle Taking, 2nd Degree Assault and Theft ($25,000 to under $100,000). The male suspect was not located, but was described as being a Black male, approximately 5'5"-5'7", all dark clothing.
The victim did not report any injuries.
