Man Dies After Being Shot on Newtowne Drive in Annapolis, Police Say

Authorities in Annapolis responded to the scene of a fatal shooting in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive last night. 

At approximately 7:30pm, an unidentified adult male in his 20s was located and subsequently transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries consistent with being shot. He later died from those injuries. 

 There is no word yet on whether or not a suspect(s) has been identified.  Officials are expected to release more information as the investigation continues.
