Pasadena Community Mourns Death of 8th Grade Student at Chesapeake Bay Middle School
The Pasadena community is mourning the loss of an eighth grade student at Chesapeake Bay Middle School.
According to an online obituary, Braddox William Pisano died on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was 13 years old.
The obituary said Braddox was passionate about sports. In addition to the large role of sports in his life, Braddox was also an avid fisherman, crabber, boater, and lover of all things aquatic.
A cause of death was not included in the announcement made by Braddox's family, or in the letter to families published by Chesapeake Bay Middle School Principal, Michael Dunn.
"Braddox was a popular student, well-liked by students and staff alike. He was an extroverted, natural leader and gifted athlete in multiple sports," Principal Dunn said in the letter. Always friendly, upbeat, and curious, he was the kind of student whose group could be counted on to excel at whatever the academic task happened to be. "
All are welcome to attend the viewing which will take place at McCully - Polyniak Funeral Home, P. A. located at 3204 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122 on Monday, October 25 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Kurtz’s Beach located at 2070 Kurtz Avenue, Pasadena, MD 21122 from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 26.
In lieu of flowers, Braddox’s family asks that donations be made to the Braddox Pisano Memorial Fund. Funds will be used toward the registration of underprivileged athletes in the Pasadena area, as well as for the Braddox Pisano Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to one high school senior who played at least 3 years of lacrosse and wrestled with the Panthers Athletic Club.
