Drug Seizure During Brooklyn Park Traffic Stop Yields Two Arrests

Two people were arrested following a massive drug seizure when officers pulled over a vehicle in the Brooklyn Park area. 

On February 16, 2022, at approximately 11:55 p.m., officer conducted a traffic stop of a gray Hyundai Elantra on Ritchie Highway near Cedar Hill Boulevard in Brooklyn. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted resulting in the seizure of approximately 843 grams of suspected marijuana packaged for distribution, approximately 42 grams of crack cocaine, three digital scales, packaging material, and $1,544 in U.S. currency. 

The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested, charged accordingly and identified as:
