Police Investigates Shooting of Child on Copeland Street in Annapolis

Authorities in Annapolis are investigating the shooting of a child that took place near a home on Copeland Street.  

On March 17, 2022, at approximately 9:08pm,  department officials say units responded to the 1900 block of Copeland Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male with injuries consistent with being shot. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The age of the child was not immediately available.
