Pasadena Man Faces Charges Following Area Motor Vehicle Theft Case

A man from Pasadena is facing criminal charges following a motor vehicle theft incident which took place in the area recently. 

On October 25, 2022, at approximately 2:15 a.m., officers responded to the Nautical Lounge, located at 8685 Fort Smallwood Road, for a stolen vehicle report. "The victim got out of his vehicle, which was still running, to retrieve an item from the business and walked past a male standing outside," a press release states. "When the victim returned to where his vehicle was parked, he saw it being driven away by the male he had seen a few minutes earlier. A responding officer located the vehicle at Royal Farms at 6411 Fort Smallwood Road and saw the suspect running from the area."

 The suspect was reportedly located at Fort Smallwood Road and Curtis Creek Bridge. 

Joshua French, 34,  was arrested and charged accordingly.
