Stabbing on Bens Drive in Annapolis Leads to the Arrest of a 26-Year Old Local Man, Police Say
The Annapolis Police Department has reportedly arrested a 26-year old local man in connection with a recent stabbing on Bens Drive.
The department said on October 1, 2022 at approximately 2:00am, their officers responded to an area Bens Drive for a reported stabbing. "Investigation revealed that Daqon Malik Tongue (shown above) got into a physical altercation with another adult male. Mr. Tongue subsequently pulled a knife and stabbed the male victim several times," police said in a press release. "The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and was last listed in stable condition. Mr. Tongue remained at the scene and was placed under arrest and criminally charged for the stabbing."
Court records Show Mr. Tounge being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on several charges, including attempted first degree murder, first degree assault and reckless endagerment.
Annapolis Attorney Michael Mcgraw, of prominent firm Cochran and Chhabra, is listed as the defense lawyer representing Mr. Tounge.
