Annapolis Woman Stabbed in the Head During Home Invasion on Hicks Avenue
A resident of Annapolis was reportedly stabbed in the head during a recent home invasion on Hicks Avenue.
According to authorities, officers with the Annapolis Police Department responded to the home on Hicks Avenue for a reported robbery on December 11, at 11:48am. "Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the home and demanded money from the victim," officials said in a statement. "During a struggle between the two, the suspect stabbed the victim in the forehead with a knife, causing a laceration.The victim was transported to an area trauma center with non life threatening injuries."
The unidentified suspect then fled with the victim's purse, which contained currency and a bank card, police department officials said.
A description of the suspect or other information was not immediately available.
