Local Man Arrested, More Than $15K in Cocaine Seized During Narcotics Bust in Annapolis
The Anne Arundel County Police Department recently announced the results of a lengthy narcotics investigation, which included one arrest and the seizure of more than $15,000 in cocaine.
In a press release, department officials said that on January 17, 2023, at approximately 10:00 a.m., members of the Southern District Tactical Narcotics Team executed search and seizure warrants at three locations in the county. "Two were served at residences in the 1000 block of Spa Road and the unit block of Hearthstone Court in Annapolis. The third was executed at a business in the 100 block of Defense Highway in Annapolis," the statement said. "The search warrants were executed after a three-month-long investigation into drug distribution in Annapolis."
According to authorities, detectives recovered approximately 158g of suspected cocaine (estimated street value: $15,820), three digital scales, and $2,430 in US currency, as a result of the search warrants from all three locations.
One suspect was arrested, charged accordingly and identified as:
