Man Accused of Robbing Annapolis Pharmacy at Gunpoint Ordered to Remain Held Without Bond

The man who police said allegedly robbed an Annapolis pharmacy at gunpoint last week has been ordered to remain held on a no bond status. 

In a press release, authorities said officers responded to the Annapolis Professional Pharmacy on Giddings Avenue for an armed robbery that had just occurred shortly after 7:00pm on February 9. "Officers were advised that a male subject entered the pharmacy and demanded prescription medications while brandishing a handgun. The pharmacist complied with the suspect and handed over the medication," the statement said. "The suspect ran out of the pharmacy and fled in a vehicle. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle on Bay Ridge Avenue unoccupied. "

An area search was conducted at which time the stolen medication that the suspect reportedly discarded was found, shortly after the suspect was located, police said. "The suspect was placed under arrest without further incident.  The vehicle was seized and a search warrant was completed, a loaded handgun was found inside of the vehicle."

 The suspect, 35 year old Marlon Patrick Green (shown below), has been charged with multiple criminal offenses, including armed robbery, assault and several handgun related crimes.

During a hearing at the Annapolis District Court yesterday, Mr. Green was ordered to remain held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
