Severn Teen Faces Murder Charge Following Fatal Shooting on Madison Street in Annapolis
A teenager from Severn has been indicted in connection with a recent fatal shooting in Annapolis.
In a statement released earlier this month, police department officials said that on June 3, 2023 at 10:08pm, officers responded to the 1100 block of Madison Street for a call of shots fired. Upon arrival of the officers, they located a gunshot victim who was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. The adult female victim was identified as Amari Tydings, 26, of Annapolis.
During a press conference yesterday, authorities said 19 year old Dyamonick Demarco Gray has been identified taken into custody for the murder of Ms. Tydings. According to court records, Gray was indicted by an Anne Arundel County grand jury on June 9. He was arrested on June 13, and was ordered to remain held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
