Teen Faces Gun Charge Following Arrest on Hicks Avenue in Annapolis

County patrol officers arrested a teenage on gun charges after he was allegedly found with a handgun while on Hicks Avenue in Annapolis yesterday. 

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said that on June 28, 2023, at approximately 11:05 p.m., officers observed an occupied vehicle parked in the area of Dorsey Avenue and Hicks Avenue.  Upon speaking with the vehicle's sole occupant, the officer developed probable cause for a search of the vehicle, resulting in the seizure of a 9mm handgun loaded with a 30-round magazine, according to department officials.

The suspect is a prohibited possessor by age, was arrested and charged accordingly, and identified as:
