Annapolis Man, 20, Shot to Death in Baltimore City, Authorities Confirm

Authorities in Baltimore have confirmed the fatal shooting of a 20 year old man from Annapolis. 

In a statement, the Baltimore Police Department said on July 3, 2023, at approximately 3:14 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of West Baltimore Street to investigate a report of a shooting.

"Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma, where he was later pronounced deceased," the statement said. 

The victim has been identified as J'riley James Leroy Downs.
