Teen Shot on Bowman Court in Annapolis, Transported to an Area Hospital

The Annapolis Police Department is investigating how a teen was found on Bowman Court tonight with a gunshot wound to the arm. 

Report Annapolis News has learned that officers were called to the 1900 block of Bowman Court shortly before 11:00pm. The officers arrived and reportedly located a 16 year old female with a gunshot wound to the right arm.  The child was transported to an area hospital for treatment, according to a source. 

The young lady reportedly told police that she was outside by the community playground, when an unknown male suspect walking nearby began shooting, striking the victim in the arm. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim’s injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
