Germantown Elementary Community Honors Longtime Educator With 50 Years of Service

Superintendant Dr. Mark Bedell joined the Germantown Elementary School community in honoring a longtime educator with more than 50 years of service. 

On Thursday, Anne Arundel County Public Schools administrators and Annapolis City officials celebrated Wanda Offer, who has spent five decades educating several generations of students at Germantown Elementary School. "Her legacy as an educator will be felt for many, many years to come," the school system said. 

Ms. Offer turns 70 today and will reportedly retire at the end of this month.
