County Police Charge Severn Men in Connection with Hanover Gas Station Robbery

The Anne Arundel County Police Department has reportedly charged two men from Severn in connection with the robbery of a Hanover gas station.

According to a statement released by the police department, officers responded to the Exxon gas station located at 7898 Ridge Road in Hanover for a strong-arm robbery of the business on July 13, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m. "The investigation revealed two suspects jumped over the counter and assaulted the clerk while a third suspect stole merchandise," the statement said.  "The suspects fled on foot.  Officers searched the area and located two of the suspects and are working to locate the third."

The arrested subjects were identified as: 

Jemar M. Grant
21-year-old male
Severn, Maryland

Nicholas M. Grant
18-year-old male
Severn, Maryland
