Loaded Gun, Nearly 300 Grams of Marijuana Found During Traffic Stop in Glen Burnie

A traffic stop in Glen Burnie yielded the recovery of a loaded gun and nearly 300 grams of marijuana, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said. 

According to department officials, on July 19, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2024 Honda in the area of Elvaton Road and Silent Breeze Court. "The driver was found to have an active warrant for his arrest and was placed into custody," a department press release said.  "During a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded handgun and approximately 288 grams of suspected cannabis. "
