Woman, 20, Faces Multiple Charges in Connection with a Glen Burnie Bank Robbery

A 20 year old woman is facing multiple charges in connection with the recent robbery of a Glen Burnie bank.

In a press release, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said on July 12, 2024, at approximately 12:40 p.m., officers were notified of a commercial hold-up alarm at the PNC Bank, located at 7301 Ritchie Highway.  "The female suspect approached a teller, implied she was armed, and demanded cash. The teller placed money in a black bag and handed it to the suspect," department officials said.  "Another employee triggered the alarm. The suspect fled the bank after receiving the money."



According to police, a responding officer observed a possible suspect in a gold Mercury in the area of 7th Avenue near Kuethe Road. The suspect,  Di’Amani Ta’Lia Jones, was positively identified and found to be in possession of the black bag of money from the bank. 

Jones was arrested and charged with several offenses, including robbery, armed robbery and theft.  She has been ordered to be held without bond while awaiting trial.
