Two Arrested After Recovery of Stolen Vehicle in Glen Burnie Yields Seizure of Drugs, Cash
The Anne Arundel County Police Department announced the arrest of two people following the alleged recovery of a stolen vehicle yielded the seizure of drugs and cash.
In a statement, department officials said on August 15, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers located a stolen Hyundai Kona parked in the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. "Upon approaching the vehicle, officers found a male suspect in the driver's seat and observed suspected CDS in plain view inside the vehicle. Officers also identified a female suspect linked to the vehicle," the statement said. "Officers seized approximately 6.95 grams of suspected Heroin, approximately 2.13 grams of suspected Cocaine, and $842.00 in U.S. currency."
Both suspects were arrested and charged:
Michael Christopher Hall Jr.
35-year-old male
Glen Burnie, Maryland
Kimberly Ann Simons
37-year-old female
Glen Burnie, Maryland
