Annapolis Woman, 49, Held Without Bond in Connection with Forest Drive Homicide

Officials with the Annapolis Police Department today announced an arrest related to a fatal shooting which reportedly occured yesterday on Forest Drive. 

In a statement, authorities said that Annapolis Police officers were called to the scene of a homicide in the 1700 block of Forest Drive. "On arrival, they found the victim, identified as Allison Faye McIntyre, 59. Ms. McIntyre was shot while sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot. Annapolis Police Department opened an investigation."

Investigators said detectives were able to identify a suspect vehicle, a Blue Toyota Camry with Maryland tags. "Further investigation identified a person of interest. In consultation with State’s Attorney Anne Colt Leitiss, an arrest warrant was issued for Monet Thompson, 49, of Annapolis," the statement said.  

Thompson has been ordered to be held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center, court records indicate.
