Eastport Gas Station Report Theft of More than $12K Lottery Tickets

Managers of the Shell Station in Eastport reported the theft of more than $12,000 in lottery tickets.

The Annapolis Police Department said at approximately 1:52 am this morning, police responded to the gas station for an intrusion alarm. "Upon the arrival, officers discovered the business had been burglarized. Suspects dressed in all black clothing and wearing blue latex gloves," department officials said.  "The suspects fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on Severn Avenue. The area was canvassed with negative results."

Gas station managers told responding officers that 6 trays of lottery tickets, cash register and US currency of unknown denominations, valued at $12,700.00., was stolen.
