County Police Nabs Woman on Drug Charges During a Traffic Stop in Annapolis

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said a woman was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop in Annapolis. 

In a press release, department official reported alleged that on December 17, 2024, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Tower Place and Forest Drive for a report of a traffic collision. "Officers observed a pipe consistent with narcotics use inside a purse belonging to one of the occupants," department officials said.  "A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed approximately 108.88 grams of an unknown white, powdery substance, approximately 22.61 grams of suspected crack cocaine in packaging, and additional paraphernalia tools consistent with drug use were located as well."

The driver of the vehicle was charged, taken into custody and identified as: Dawn Marie Krause, 46.
