Draco Rifle & High Capacity Ammo Found During Traffic Stop in Glen Burnie, Police Say

Officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department allegedly found a rifle and ammunition during a traffic stop in Glen Burnie.

In a statement, police department officials said officers were conducting a routine patrol in Old Mill Southgate Park On December 1, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m. "Officers observed an individual inside a silver Chevrolet Equinox trespassing in the park after hours," the statement said.  "A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a 7.62 x 39 Draco Rifle, a 9mm black semi-automatic Taurus G2C, and several high-capacity magazines with extra ammunition."

The driver, 28 year old Kalvyn Andre Giggetts,  was arrested and charged.
