Annapolis Celebrates 33 Years of Volunteer Beautification with Spring Greenscape on April 26

The City of Annapolis invites residents to join GreenScape 2025, a citywide beautification initiative, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

GreenScape encourages community members to plant and maintain gardens in public spaces. The City provides necessary materials, and volunteers contribute to the city's beautification. In 2024, over 350 participants planted 1,861 perennials, 60 trees and shrubs, and 372 herbs and vegetables.

Pre-registration is required to receive plants. Organizational meetings will be held at the Roger "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center on February 5 and March 5 at 6 p.m.

If you are unable to attend the meeting(s) you may download the plant order form at www.annapolis.gov/GreenScape beginning on Feb. 5. Complete the form and email it to Marisa Wittlinger at mdwittlinger@annapolis.gov.
