Annapolis Police Department Investigates Shooting of Teenager on Tyler Avenue

Local police are Investigating a Tyler Avenue shooting that left a teenager injured.

At approximately 9:14 pm, officers responded to a location in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue for a juvenile gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 16-year-old juvenile with a gunshot wound to the lower leg. The juvenile was transported to shock trauma for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury and is currently in stable condition.

Department officials have not released any further details. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police.
