Glen Burnie Teen Faces Gun Charges Following Traffic Stop in Crofton

The Anne Arundel County Police Department today announced the arrest of a teen from Glen Burnie on gun charges following a traffic stop in Crofton. 

On February 4, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., a police officer conducted the traffic stop in the area of Crain Highway and Crofton Boulevard in Crofton, involving a blue 2006 Ford. Upon investigation, the officer found that a rear-seat passenger was in possession of a loaded 9mm Glock handgun. The passenger, a 16 year old Glen Burnie teen, was subsequently arrested and charged.
