With Unwavering Commitment, Anne Arundel County Police Detectives Pursue Truth Behind Senseless Murder of Compassionate Nurse, Single Mother, Outside Parents' Apartment

County police detectives are working tirelessly to solve the murder of a devoted nurse and single mother who was tragically shot and killed while leaving her parents' apartment in Glen Burnie last October, authorities say. 

Anne Arundel County Police reported that on Oct. 29, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers rushed to the 200 block of Snowcap Court in Glen Burnie after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a woman, later identified as 30-year-old Natasha Harris, lying on the ground in the parking lot, suffering from several gunshot wounds. 

Harris was transported to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, officials said. Homicide detectives and Evidence Collection Unit personnel arrived on the scene, collecting multiple items of evidence. Several witnesses were located and interviewed regarding the shooting. Detectives believe this was a targeted incident, police said.
