Dr. Donald C. Roane, Longtime Annapolis Family Medicine Physician, Dies at 90
Dr. Donald Cornelius Roane, a long time Annapolis area primary care doctor, has died. He was 90 years old.
Dr. Roane began practicing family medicine on Forest Drive in Annapolis in the early 1970s.
According to an electronic profile, Dr. Roane was first licensed to practice medicine after graduating from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1965. In addition to his practice in Annapolis, Dr. Roane maintained a full-time family medicine practice in West River from approximately 1973 to 2001. He later transitioned to semi-retirement and then fully retired from medical practice in 2008.
Funeral arrangements have yet to be made public.
