Middle School Teachers Assaulted by Student, Police Officials Say

At least one middle school teacher was injured after being assaulted by a student, according to the Annapolis Police Department. 

In a press release, department officials said on March 6, 2025, officers responded to Adams Academy for a student that assaulted 2 teachers.  The student reportedly took a teacher's radio and keys and assaulted both teachers during the altercation.  At least one of the teachers suffered minor injuries, and the student was arrested. 

It is unclear what crimes was the student charged with prior to being arrested and released to the custody of a parent.
