Pasadena Man Dies in County's Third Fatal Fire of the Year
A recent fire in Pasadena has reportedly claim the life of one person.
At approximately 12:26 a.m. today, March 25, 2025, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to a 911 call from a BGE contractor, who reported a house fire on Hickory Point Road in Pasadena.
Upon arrival at 192 Hickory Point Road, approximately four minutes after dispatch, fire units observed significant fire emanating from the first floor. Firefighters entered the residence and controlled the fire in about 30 minutes. During their search, they located the body of an adult male near the area believed to be the fire's point of origin.
Anne Arundel County Fire Investigators are currently examining the fire's origin and cause, which, at this time, remains undetermined. According to officials, fire detectors were present and operational within the home. The deceased was identified as Stephen Geisendaffer Sr.,62, who was the sole occupant of the residence.
This incident marks the third fire fatality in Anne Arundel County in 2025. The previous two fatalities occurred during the fire on February 20, 2025, which was determined to be accidental.
