Pasadena Traffic Stop Yields Arrest on Drug Related Charge

Anne Arundel County Police Department officers reportedly apprehended an individual on drug possession charges after conducting a traffic stop in Pasadena.

In a press release, department officials said at approximately 11:00 p.m. on April 10, officers initiated a traffic stop on a blue Acura TL in the Walmart parking lot at 8107 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena. According to the release, a subsequent vehicle search led to the discovery of the following items:

* Approximately 94.08 grams of suspected cocaine
* 16.32 grams of suspected fentanyl in pill form
* 1.41 grams of suspected oxycodone (nine pills)
* Approximately 280.09 grams of suspected cannabis, individually packaged in 61 bags
* Two digital scales
* Packaging materials
* $370.00 in U.S. currency

As a result, the suspect was arrested, charged and identified as 29 year old Zumrawi Mousa Yagoub, of Hanover.
